VeriMap Plus Inc. is a 3D direct-digital aerial photography and mapping company with offices and operations located in the US (San Marcos, TX) and Canada (Calgary, AB). VeriMap offers unprecedented speed-of-delivery imagery mapping products and services enabling clients from a variety of industries to manage terrestrial assets at a glance within the GIS Computer System... at the most affordable prices ever.

We have currently released a super-large-format 5-band multi-spectral Linear Array after 24 months of design and manufacture of the sensor hardware with a Canadian Company Electronics and Optical Designer for other super camera designs for Home Land Security Defense and Border Patrol applications.

First test flights were successful in Canada January 2007 at -25 C outside temperatures. Further design improvements and flight tests between April and September 2007 have realized the completion of the first two production sensors and are installed on our Navajo Aircraft in Southern US.

  • The 207 mega-pixel per band. (5-band RGB-NIR-Pan) link

The Sensors are 14,400 pixels wide swath. Takumar calibrated lens configurations are 55mm or 105mm which generate 66 FOV and 38FOV respectively. A dual-sensor wide configuration allows for 28,000 pixel swath. The 4-sensor configuration will be near the 1 GigaPixel Equivalent.

This will allow for 6” ortho-photo to be collected from 10,000ft AGL. The real-time precision IMU Navigation system flight geometry is linked to the Image data for rapid Image-Maps delivery. Clients can access their new data instantly from anywhere, thru Internet channels and Wireless channels.

Our Infrared-Thermal Step-Stare Camera, has 12 times the coverage capacity and detection capabilities than is currently available in the commercial market. It has ability to select field of view from 30 degrees to 90 degrees. 1m ground resolution is obtained from 10,000 ft AGL. Low level, extreme resolution of 4” and 6” (10cm and 15cm) are possible.

  • Thermal Infrared sensor “tile” is a 45 mega-pixel equivalent @ 1.2 to 5.9um link

The original MK I prototype, flew Oct 1997 a 1.5 mega-pixel Nikon-Kodak digital camera was installed beside an Optech LiDAR 2Khtz laser system.
